Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee all front of house employees during assigned shifts, hold pre-shift huddles, and complete shift notes
  • Direct the activities of up to 30 team members at any given time, assign duties, and follow up for completion
  • Ensure guest satisfaction through regular interactions and courteous communication throughout the lounge
  • Resolve guest issues, complaints, and problems quickly and efficiently to maintain a high level of service quality
  • Coach, train, and supervise front of house staff while serving as a role model for the team
  • Monitor alcoholic beverages served to passengers and alert management to potential problems
  • Coordinate with lounge managers to resolve service issues and assist with interviewing and hiring new hourly staff
  • Remain calm and alert during emergency situations and heavy lounge activity
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all required regulatory agency requirements and ensure team compliance with TSA and local airport authority regulations
  • Assist with cleaning rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, and common areas as assigned
  • Perform administrative tasks as required and complete additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 5 years of previous guest service or hospitality experience required
  • 2–3 years of previous leadership or supervisory experience required
  • Must maintain current state approved Responsible Alcohol Management certification and Food Handlers or Managers Permit if applicable
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D preferred
  • Demonstrates strong management, leadership, and communication skills with the ability to interact with guests and coworkers in a friendly and outgoing manner
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs. and stand, walk, bend, and twist for entire scheduled shifts up to 10 hours
  • Must be available to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays on a seven-day operation
