Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain high visibility in assigned airport terminals and adjacent areas to maximize engagement with travelers and continually offer greetings, information, and directions
- Proactively assist travelers with navigating the airport layout and provide directions to transportation, destinations, and other requested information using company issued iPads
- Assist persons with disabilities including those in wheelchairs or other mobility devices in a kind, courteous, and customer-facing manner
- Communicate knowledge of transportation options including taxis, ride share, parking, rental cars, and public transportation to travelers
- Actively report unwanted behaviors such as soliciting, smoking, loitering, disorderly conduct, and unsafe conditions to management and airport police via established communication methods
- Serve as a visible uniformed deterrent while circulating through assigned terminals to deter unwanted activity
- Respond to emergency situations following established protocol
- Report all activities and metrics through usage of smart devices including iPad, phone, and radio
- Maintain a friendly and positive environment in full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must have at least 1 year of experience in hospitality or customer service
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School Diploma or G.E.D preferred
- Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to speak, read, and write English fluently — additional language skills are a plus
- Must have the physical capacity to stand and walk continuously during 8 to 10 hour shifts
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions with provided inclement weather gear
- Must be available to work 24/7 including weekends and holidays
