Duties & Responsibilities
- Build and break down ramp cargo efficiently and according to operational standards
- Load, unload, and manage ULDs (Unit Load Devices), loading equipment, and related materials
- Handle various types of cargo and mail with care and accuracy
- Operate company vehicles and forklifts safely and in compliance with all regulations
- Safely handle dangerous goods in accordance with documentation requirements and physical inspection protocols
- Communicate effectively and provide timely feedback to agents, leads, supervisors, and managers
- Deliver excellent customer service within the warehouse environment
- Take ownership and accountability for the condition and security of cargo, mail, and equipment
- Develop proficiency in specialized areas including Flash, Screening Area, DGR, and Tracing
- Adhere to all specific requirements, regulations, and procedures established through training
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School Diploma or G.E.D preferred
- Demonstrated experience in warehouse operations and ramp vehicle driving skills
- Quick learner with the ability to grasp new skills and concepts in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaborate effectively within a team
- Must be available for a flexible schedule including varied shifts, weekends, and holidays — shift hours 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
Benefits
- Full-Time Employees accrue 9 days (72 hours) of paid time off per year at regular hourly wage
- Accrual rate of 6 hours per month, earned on the 1st of each month following hire date
- Up to 40 hours may roll over at the end of the accrual period
- PTO balance cannot exceed 72 hours at any time
