Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitor and operate command center CCTV surveillance systems
- Conduct hand wanding and metal detector screening
- Patrol assigned areas and document all patrols accurately
- Complete incident reports by recording observations and occurrences in a timely manner
- Assist with fire watch coverage and support investigations as needed
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with TSA, Port Authority Police, and Customs
- Deliver excellent customer service to all guests and personnel
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must have a valid New York State Security Officer License
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred or 5 years of verifiable experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule including all shifts Monday through Sunday — overnight, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts available
