Duties & Responsibilities

  • Monitor and operate command center CCTV surveillance systems
  • Conduct hand wanding and metal detector screening
  • Patrol assigned areas and document all patrols accurately
  • Complete incident reports by recording observations and occurrences in a timely manner
  • Assist with fire watch coverage and support investigations as needed
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with TSA, Port Authority Police, and Customs
  • Deliver excellent customer service to all guests and personnel
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid New York State Security Officer License
  • Valid Driver’s License required
  • Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred or 5 years of verifiable experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule including all shifts Monday through Sunday — overnight, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts available
