Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and professionally at the bar
- Present menus, answer questions, and make food and beverage recommendations
- Take drink and limited food orders from guests and servers
- Accurately enter orders into the POS system
- Prepare, mix, and serve beverages according to recipes and guest preferences
- Prepare and maintain garnishes such as fruits and herbs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing bar setup at all times
- Wash, sanitize, and properly store bar tools, utensils, and glassware
- Ensure cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing the bar area regularly
- Remove trash and recycling following airport sanitation and security procedures
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow responsible service guidelines
- Process payments accurately, including cash, credit, and vouchers
- Reset and sanitize bar seating areas between guests
- Provide excellent customer service and encourage repeat visits
Qualifications
- Bartending experience preferred
- Must be at least 21 years old
- High School Diploma or G.E.D preferred
- Must be able to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
- Must be available to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
