Duties & Responsibilities

  • Receive, store, transfer, and dispense petroleum fuel products
  • Operate motorized fueling vehicles, including fuel tank trucks with standard and automatic transmissions
  • Operate non-motorized fueling equipment, including hydrant carts
  • Fuel and de-fuel aircraft according to flight crew and flight plan requirements
  • Inspect fueling equipment and vehicles and report malfunctions or inconsistencies
  • Perform accurate fueling calculations
  • Fuel ground support equipment using gasoline or diesel as required
  • Communicate with carrier personnel and operational teams
  • Utilize hand-held radios, telephones, and computers for daily communication
  • Complete and submit documentation related to fueling activities
  • Respond to fuel emergencies, including fuel spills, following established safety procedures
  • Comply with all federal, state, municipal, airport authority, and carrier security requirements
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
  • Work safely in a fast-paced airport environment

Qualifications

  • Previous CDL driving experience required
  • Valid CDL Class A or Class B Driver’s License required
  • Valid DOT Medical Card required
  • Must be able to obtain Hazmat and Tank Endorsements
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High School Diploma or GED Preferred
  • Good command of the English language, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work in a time-sensitive, team-oriented environment
  • Strong general math aptitude
  • Must be dependable and able to follow directions
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be willing to work in all weather conditions
