Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet guests courteously and professionally
- Walk guests through the ordering and payment process
- Highlight menu, food, and beverage options; make suggestions based on preferences and dietary restrictions
- Follow cash handling and point-of-sale procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of dining and service stations
- Communicate with kitchen and management to ensure timely food delivery
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required
- Assist team members as needed to support smooth operations
- Report guest complaints, low inventory, equipment issues, or intoxicated guests to management
- Perform additional tasks as requested by leadership
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of server experience in fast-paced, high-volume environments
- Must complete TIPS certification within 90 days of employment
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or G.E.D preferred
- Must be fluent in English
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service, including beer, wine, and cocktail pairings
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as standing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching for extended periods
